“For The Record” is the second album from Philadelphia alternative rock band El Dorado. Scott Collings and Matt McFerron continue to provide a layers of distorted wall-of-noise guitars over catchy melodies and a driving rhythm section by drummer Matthew Rumain and bassist Dave Lorenz. These eight songs picked up where their debut EP Loud and Clear left off, once again blending the sonic noise of indie rock and shoegaze with the songwriting sensibilities of alt.county.
